We’re nearing the end of the Supreme Court term, and soon to come to come will be the much anticipated ruling on the “ObamaCare” case(s). I do not presume to posit myself as astute or learned an observer of the Court as, for example, my friends at ScotusBlog. But I’ll play the parlor game. Let’s do some predictions. I see a 5 to 4 ruling striking down the individual mandate, with Roberts writing for the Court. I’ll predict that the Court will, however, rule by a 6 to 3 margin against throwing the whole thing out, with Roberts and Kennedy switching sides on that issue. Alito will pen a forceful dissent. Anyone else?
